My 4 Favorite Maternity Dresses (Under $75)

Hi friends!

I haven't posted in a while, and it is mainly due to lack of time that has been on my hands since the summer. For those of you who don't know, Tyler and I announced back in the fall that we were not only expecting our third child, but this time -- It's a GIRL! We are so excited for her arrival this spring, we can hardly stand it.

Although this is not a normal "nutrition" post, I am sharing this with my readers because I think it is important for women who are expecting to feel comfortable and beautiful in their own skin. It is something that I have really struggled with in the past, especially when pregnant. Gaining weight every week and just watching your body change so dramatically in 40 weeks can really damage one's self esteem and confidence. This pregnancy is different than my other two on so many levels, but one huge difference is I have been practicing what I like to call "body positive affirmations" every single day. I have shared with you guys what I have struggled with in the past when it comes to negative self image, and although there are some moments where I feel rather large or uncomfortable, I am happy to say that I truly feel beautiful in my own skin- pregnant or not.

With that being said, I have found some awesome maternity dresses this pregnancy that have allowed me to truly maximize my self confidence. I'm sharing these for any women (I know quite a few) who are currently or soon to be expecting a baby and are searching for an affordable and stylish maternity dress. All four of these dresses are under $75.00 and can be worn during and after pregnancy (even for nursing mothers).

This purple dress is a convertible dress from www.dressandcharm.com. I love it so much that I got it in two colors. This dress retails for $62.00, but can be purchased from Dress and Charm for $47.00. I love this dress because it can be worn 100 different ways. It is super comfortable material and can be worn during and after pregnancy. (Size- one size fits all, but can be ordered in plus size too)

This is the other dress that I got from www.dressandcharm.com. This just shows you another way you can wear the dress when pregnant. Emerald green is my favorite color, so naturally I feel most comfortable in this dress. $47.00 from Dress and Charm.

This dress is a maternity/nursing maxi dress from www.pinkblushmaternity.com. I actually ordered this dress in 3 different styles because I love the look and feel of the dress. These dresses retail for $65.00, but this maternity site almost always has a sale going on, and I believe I ordered this dress with a 30% off my entire order. Here is the direct link to the nursing maternity dresses on this site. (Size medium and I am 5'10" tall)

This dress is another nursing/maternity dress from www.pinkblushmaternity.com, except this one is not a maxi dress, it is just called a "wrap dress." It falls right above my knees (Size Medium).  This dress retails for $54.00, but again, this site has sales going on all the time so you can usually get it for less.

I hope this post has helped some of my sweet expecting mamas out there who have either asked about these dresses in particular (sorry if I haven't messaged you back yet), or if you're just interested in buying a nice and affordable dress (whether you are pregnant or not). I also hope that if any of my fellow readers are pregnant, that they know they are truly beautiful and the fact that they are building a human life inside of them is the most amazing thing in the world. YOU are beautiful. YOU are worthy of self love.

Blessings and Health,

Chauncey Hollister
