But it got me thinking that it can't be that hard to make this lemonade myself. So I googled some copycat recipes and went and bought the ingredients, and tweaked the recipe a bit to my taste and OH MY LANTA, it is unreal. Unreal, guys. And there is seriously nothing like freshly squeezed, cold, lemonade. Especially on a hot summer day. So without further ado, this is my Copycat Diet Lemonade recipe, made with only 3 simple ingredients.
For this recipe you will need:
8-10 large lemons
5 cups of water
1 1/4 cup of stevia (or another calorie free sugar substitute if you want it to be "diet")
1. In a half-gallon pitcher, whisk the stevia with 2 cups warm water until completely dissolved.
2. Squeeze the lemons into the pitcher. Then add remaining water.
3. Chill for at least an hour.
4. Serve over ice.
Hope you all enjoy! Let me know if you tried out this recipe and if you liked it. I still love my Chick-Fil-A, but it's nice to be able to make this at home and not have to put on pants to go get some :)
